Halloween Book / inside pages

These pages turned out so cute, I have to say it is one of my favorite books we have created. Each page is embellished with glittered spiderwebs cut out of Robin's Nest glitter spiderweb cardstock. Paper used on these pages are Robin's Nest halloween dot on linen cardstock It is double sided, so as you cut out the page, you will have the back side already with a print, thus the striped paper is the back of the halloween dot. I have used may arts ribbon, and autumn watercolor paper to frame the pictures in and print lettering. The Lettering is from dover publications, and I believe I used some ek stickers as well on these pages. Pages are 6x6 in size.

Halloween Book

This is the front cover of our cute halloween book. The Cover is made with Robin's Nest Black chipboard, and covered with Robins Nest glittered spiderweb cardstock. The Book has 3 rings on the end, and each ring is filled with tied ribbon in halloween colors. We did orange and black only. Most of the ribbons are from May Arts. The corner embellishment that says halloween is from doodlebug design. We have embellished the front of the book with glitter black and white yarn, a spider ring, with the ring part cut off, and glued down with a glue dot. Dew drops follow the lines of the spiderweb in the corner, and are glued down with a zig glue pen. All Robin's Nest products are available on our web site. The Die used for the book is an Accu-cut die. This is a 6x6 Book.

My Camera

Here I am, the way the fam usually sees me. Camera in hand. One of the funnest things I have purchased in my life is my camera. There is a different world out there through the eyes of my camera. These photos were taken by my oldest daughter of me, and I saw a new glimpse of how my family saw me. I love it. I am working on a series of 6x12 books about myself, so these pages are in 6x12 format. Papers used are Robin's Nest- Calamity Jane roses cardstock, brown on brown glitter cardstock, brown swirl glitter cardstock, french vanilla fleur on linen cardstock,
cowboy dew drops. Don't you just love these dew drops. Just adhere to your page with a zig pen glue. It is so easy, no punching holes in your pages. Just glue.

Vacation

Oh how I love to vacation!!! This uses our spa journey glitter cardstock. The actual layout is an 8x8 size. I also used brads, and a very old sticker from ages past.

Happy Fright Night

Here is the cutest halloween card using our black glitter trees cardstock. We also used black and brick cardstock, ripped down the edge of the glitter cardstock and tied the card with a black and orange ribbon. The glitter cardstock was featured on the front cover of the Canadian Scrapbooker. Card was created by Stephanie Tucker

Growing old Together

We are so excited to have our first post on our blog. This layout is using our Dark Vanilla line of papers. Hey, this is Dana and Robin, the owners and me the designer of The Robin's Nest product line.

The background is dark vanilla brown on brown glitter cardstock. Our photo is matted with the back side of dark vanilla stripe cardstock, and the stripe behind the matted photo is dark vanilla glitter stripe. The side bar is glitter latte fleur linen paper. The fun texture is using our famous dew drops!!! I used a circle template with soil dew drops, just a small space about the size of a dew drop between each one.
Adhere the dew drops with a drop of zig glue (that's my favorite adhesive for the dew drops). Sticker is the dark vanilla sticker placed under and around the corner of the photo. Layout by Robin O'Crowley
